This price helps us provide concessions to those less fortunate. It allows Spirit Horse to dream deeper and plan a future and reward our crew for their heroism.

About This Retreat

Sweat Lodge
Spirit Horse follow their own home grown style of sweat lodge, arrived at over 35 years of living close to the earth, supporting rituals and retreats among the wooded gorges of their valley.

Our sweats are a prayer fed by both Feminine and Masculine. With just the right amount of order and flow of the moment. Both first timers and experienced sweat lodge goers will feel at home our grand lodge.
Breath Work
Shivam has pioneered his own style of breath work after some profound crisis of release years ago ; driven by intense rhythms and musical cacophony which flowers into a beatific visionary place of deep being and healing supported by sacred speech and sarod.

Yoga and Meditation
Yoga will be relaxed and easy each morning, suitable for all levels or experience.

Followed by meditation and the art of surrender guided by Shivam.
Participants are welcome to enjoy the temple spaces for further silent meditation during the day or wonder the wild woods and waterfalls as they please. You are just as welcome to chat and drink tea in the dinning area round the fire and listen to the musicians.

The price covers all delicious healthy meals, teas, coffee and shared round house accommodation.

Bring your own tent for privacy if you wish, camping is free.
Optional extras:
Rent a private furnished mini yurt for yourself or to share with up to 5 friends for £200 (sleeping foams included)
Rent bedding, sheets, pillow and duvet for £45 (this is optional, you can just bring your own)
Practicalities
Arrive on any day of the event between 3pm - 5pm.
We also run a pick up service from Caersws at 6:20pm, please email us to confirm you need a lift.

Please make sure to arrive on site at the arrival time. We will ferry you and all your gear in our four wheel drive vehicles down the steep mountain road to the village (if you don't fancy the spectacular mountain footpath). This takes only a few minutes to drive but you will have to load everything into our vehicles with our help. Welcome to the Bhutan of Wales. You can have the full Himalayan adventure without ever leaving Britain.

Please bring all your necessary bedding for you to be warm and comfortable. It can get very cold here at night, even in the summer. Alternatively, we do now offer and optional extra when booking your ticket. For an additional £45, we will provide a duvet, sheets and pillows for your stay.
Spirit Horse Mountain Retreat is set amidst 200 acres of wildest Wales, allowed through the Forest of Dreams (registered charity) to return to its natural original face.

Bookings and Cancellations Policy
It is really helpful for us when running courses and events if you book in advance.
If we have to cancel an event, we will provide you a full refund without question.
If you need to cancel your booking, you can carry the value of your booking over to another event (subject to availability) or pay £100 admin fee, unless exceptional circumstances.
